Job Title: Account Executive (Cyber Security)
Location: Hybrid – client has offices in both Manchester and London
Salary: £60K base salary / £120k OTE / uncapped and Share Options
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded, fast-growing tech start up and play an instrumental role in developing a scalable sales machine from the ground up. The candidate will work collaboratively with all members of the team reporting directly to the founder and CEO.
As an Account Executive, you duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Generate leads, build and manage a multi-channel sales pipeline (with an initial focus on the outbound) from a standing start
- Leverage experience and industry expertise to help identify, develop and drive sales activities and processes
- Work closely with a new marketing team to develop inbound lead generation strategies and cross functional workflows
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the target customer and product to help build and evolve the pricing model
- Support the management team and / or lead on new sales hires, training and management
- Collaborate internally with product and customer success teams to help improve and maintain the customer feedback loop
- Work with the management on sales data / KPI collection, monitoring and improvement
- Although not an immediate priority, develop all existing and new partner channels in preparation for and post the next funding round
Skills and Qualities
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience selling B2B software or similar services to mid-market and/or enterprise clients in the cybersecurity sector or adjacent verticals.
- A demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience building and managing end-to-end sales cycles and pipelines
- Experienced in negotiating and closing commercial deals which include cross-functional input and multiple stakeholders
- Experience in developing and executing multi-tier account sales strategy and processes (with the focus on mid-market and/or enterprise)
- Start-up experience or evidence of ability to work in a small, dynamic and fast growing team with little structure is desirable
- A proven track record in a similar role with career ambitions for fast growth
- A self-starter, hunter mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
- An appetite and potential for leadership is a bonus
