The company are a leading Digital Learning / E-learning solutions provider who are primed for growth in a very hot market and are looking to strengthen their sales team further, with the appointment of an experienced Account Executive to support their ongoing expansion and new market opportunities.
In this role, you will have a great deal of opportunity to influence and will have lots of impact, breaking into new markets and targeting global enterprise, supported by a highly experienced management team.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be
- Establishing clear strategies and plans in pursuit of sales objectives
- Effectively aligning a multi-disciplined team to deliver strategies and plans
- Maintaining accurate and timely pipeline, account, and opportunity data to support sales performance reporting to sales leadership
- Ensuring qualification, approval and forecasting processes are understood and actively supported
- Regularly reviewing progress against sales plan targets and KPIs with sales leadership and, as appropriate, stakeholders (incl. executive management)
- Communicating current and emerging client requirements to the wider business
- Identifying strategic growth opportunities for service and product development within the business
- Pro-actively supporting commercialisation/cultural change
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of new business sales experience selling to senior decision makers
- Evidence of success in a new business sales function in digital learning
- Evidence of consistently exceeding targets or quotas
- Leading complex bids for multi-year six figure contracts embracing product, technology, and services
Domain Expertise
- Confident speaker on the subject of learning science and the business case for digital learning initiatives
- Domain knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), digital transformation or data driven learning solutions preferred
- Track record of managing and growing digital learning revenue and profitability in a named territory or account(s)
- Must be able to articulate digital learning industry trends and key business and technology influences to all customers and partners
- Proven ability to construct compelling business cases in support of digital learning initiatives
- Credibility to apply insights to customer commercial and learning objectives and ensure the organisation continues to be regarded as distinctive and innovative
