Make an Impact Where It Matters
We’re partnering with a fast-growing SaaS market leader in the EdTech space , a business trusted by thousands of schools across the UK and internationally, to hire a Renewals Manager who will take full ownership of their renewal operations.
This company is on a mission to equip educators with high-quality programmes that give children the essential life skills for a happy, healthy future. Your work will directly support that mission by ensuring the schools who rely on these programmes stay engaged, retained and growing.
The Role
This is a strategic, hands-on position that blends team leadership with day-to-day execution. You’ll own the entire renewal lifecycle, drive retention rates, and play a central role in converting short-term subscriptions into long-term partnerships.
If you thrive on combining data, relationships and commercial rigour to protect and grow recurring revenue, this is one to explore.
What You’ll Be Doing
Owning the Renewal Lifecycle – Full end-to-end accountability for subscription renewals, leading the team to consistently exceed target renewal rates.
Driving Retention and Contract Growth – Strategically converting 1-year subscriptions into 3-year engagements, increasing overall renewal rates in line with KPIs.
Using Data to Sharpen Strategy – Analysing renewal trends, churn indicators and customer feedback to identify risks, improve processes and strengthen support for schools.
Managing Customer Relationships – Handling objections with empathy and confidence, offering solutions that retain value and build lasting trust with school stakeholders.
Building Operational Excellence – Maintaining accurate CRM records (HubSpot experience is desirable), developing renewal timelines, workflows and reporting dashboards that give the business clear visibility.
What We’re Looking For
Renewals Experience – A proven track record in renewals, account management or customer success, ideally within SaaS or EdTech.
Commercially Driven – You consistently hit and exceed KPIs and can demonstrate measurable results.
Analytically Strong – Comfortable working with data, dashboards, Excel and CRM platforms to inform decisions.
A Strong Communicator – Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to negotiate, build rapport and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
Sector Awareness – Familiarity with the education sector or school procurement processes is a valuable bonus, though not essential.
Why This Role?
This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven SaaS business at an exciting stage of growth, where your contribution will directly support the development of children across the UK and beyond. If you’re organised, proactive and energised by the idea of owning a commercially critical function with real social impact, we’d love to hear from you.
