The company are a rapidly growing technology business whose goal is to help their clients to create the most efficient, effective, and engaging working environments.
Using their patented technology, they help their clients to get the best out of their workspace while enabling them to fully understand the utilisation of their office buildings and reduce their carbon impact.
As Sales Director you will be responsible for all aspects of new customer acquisition within the EMEA region, developing account plans and executing strategies to engage with, develop and ultimately secure new Enterprise customers in the region.
Reporting into the Global VP Sales, you will manage a small distributed sales team of 4 people initially, including SDR support, with a view to scaling to support the growth of the region.
In the early days, as Sales Director, you will need to be a player/manager, leading from the front and carrying a personal quota. As the region develops this will change into more of a regional quota, but you need to be prepared to act as an individual contributor initially, much like a start-up.
Rest assured, this is not completely greenfield, there are a number of existing installations in the region, with some opportunities available to develop. You will also have lead generation support, with an opportunity to hire a further SDR straight away.
As Sales Director, ideally you will offer the following experience.
- A background in selling Tech / SaaS solutions to Enterprise in the DACH region
- Experience of selling building tech solutions, Building Management Systems, Commercial/Corporate property software solutions (proptech) or workspace optimisation/space planning solutions.
- An understanding of the Corporate/Commercial Real Estate industry.
- Experience selling solutions supporting digital transformation.
- Experience either as an individual contributor looking to take on some managerial responsibility or as a player/manager looking to head up a region.
