Circa £60k Basic + £40k variable (Uncapped) – OTE £100k

The company is an early stage, high growth software business that has developed a market leading API for use by SaaS vendors globally, that solves a common problem that has existed for some time.

They have already established a clear product fit for the market and have an impressive customer portfolio already, including some very high profile organisations who consider them the market leaders.

As an organisation, they are a hugely product focused business and invest very heavily in product development, as well as marketing and customer success. As a result of this continued investment, the time has now come for the further development of the sales team with the appointment of two Account Executives.

Based at their offices in London, as an Inside Sales Account Executive, you will be the first point of contact for all prospects internationally, across the UK, US and Europe. You will be responsible for qualifying the prospects needs, providing advice and guiding them through the options available.

As an Inside Sales Account Executive, you will be fully supported buy the marketing function who will be generating a strong flow of inbound activity for you to manage and, in addition you will also be expected to deliver outbound sales strategies, in order to build a qualified pipeline of quality prospects.

As the inaugural member of the Sales team and an experienced Software sales professional, you will be able to contribute your ideas in refining the sales process and account development plans, in addition you will work closely with marketing to deliver effective communication strategies and campaigns.

As an Inside Sales Account Executive, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • A successful track record of consistent success in an office based / inside sales role working for a target driven SaaS technology business.
  • Experience in generating monthly recurring revenues (MRR) through pro-actively identifying, nurturing and closing qualified new business sales campaigns
  • An understanding of API technologies and how SaaS applications are developed.
  • A professional approach to selling, ideally utilising a recognised sales methodology
  • An interest and understanding of the SaaS industry
